The most rewarding part of being a CDCES is helping people with diabetes overcome barriers and improve their health. My decision to becoming certified was the best career move I have taken as a Registered Dietitian!

As of May 15, 2025, the CDCES Scholarship Program application window has closed. Review will take place May - July, with decisions announced in July. The 2026 window will open March 2026.

Children with Diabetes (CWD)
A professional membership organization dedicated to promoting the expertise of the diabetes care and education specialist, ensuring the delivery of quality diabetes self-management education and support to the person with diabetes and contributing to the future direction of the profession.
